Adelaide is the captial of South Australia and is nestled between the ocean and the hills. Adelaide has beautiful beaches, world-class vineyards, an abundance of quality food and wine and a laid back vibe. Adelaide is a vibrant, original and cultured capital that offers a high standard of living in a Mediterranean climate. In 2005 Adelaide was voted as one of the world’s top five cities in which to live for lifestyle? (Economist Intelligence Unit’s Liveability Survey 2005). Affordable housing, low living costs, great amenities and a smorgasbord of entertainment events, means that Adelaide can offer an attractive mix of great lifestyle and employment options. All Australian capital cities offer different things. Adelaide is a city where people can still get anywhere within twenty minutes, where you can play cricket on the beach with your family and then enjoy a relaxing beer or wine at any number of bars or cafes. Adelaide is a city full of friendly, outgoing people that are more than willing to tell you how good life in South Australia is.

Adelaide is the cheapest place in Australia as far as cost of living and accommodation standards go. Being so close to several wine regions also means that good, cheap wine is available from cellar doors (an added bonus!!).

Everything is fresh and grown locally. Best place to buy is the Central Market in the city centre.

Adelaide has a fantastic Police service and is generally a safe place. As with all major cities, always be cautious if walking through the city centre at night.
