Flagstaff (Navajo: Kinłání) is a city located in northern Arizona, in the southwestern United States. It’s located at the intersection of Interstate 17 and Interstate 40. The city is also the regional center and county seat for Coconino County Air travel is available through Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, located just south of the city. The airport is primarily a small, general aviation airport with a single 6,999 feet (2,133 m) runway. The airport is currently undergoing a major expansion project to add 1,800 feet (549 m) to the north end of the current runway and lengthen the taxiway, to increase its viability for commercial and regional jets.
