Bratislava still retains its cosmopolitan spirit. It hosts many festivals and trade shows and it is famous for its night life and leisure facilities.

the shopping is great, hard to know where loacals go though. The city core is fairly small and most things are in walking distance. Many good and interesting museums, which many are free to enter. Fantastic public transport system that runs 24/7 if you want to go a little further.
