Prague (Praha) is the capital of the Czech Republic since 1993, from 1918 to 1992 of Czechoslovakia. This city is one of the most beautifull ones in the world - a certain must see place for people visiting middle Europe. The centre is listed among UNESCO world cultural heritage sites. Prague is also great for clubing and pubing. Two best open pubs well worth the climb are in Letenske Sady and Riegrovy Sady - great atmosphere, great beer, great view. Best time to pay a visit is from early sprint to late fall.

If you're comming from North America, Western Europe or Australia, you'll find cheaper everything - except for the most turistic places. Most striking are low prices of public transport (especialy if you take in accont its high quality), beer (no wonder Czechs have the highest consumption of beer per capita in the world:-), and cultural events (concerts, National Theatre, ZOO, etc. and again the quality of it is high!)

Ztraty a Nalezy on Vinohradska street just 5mins walk up from Wienceslaw Square (Vaclavske Namesti). But not just here, in general Czech cuisine is meat based - If you're a vegetarian, then you're ... untucky. (there are some nice places too, but in general: poor you)
Prague , Safety:
9/10
If you come from the USA, than you're not going to believe it - you can be an attractive fragile female and you can walk the streets of Prague on your own at midnight not risking anything more than just getting lost.
